| Biography
Laura
Cannell
recently completed (and passed) her MMus in Performance at the UEA
and graduated from London College of Music and Media with 1st class
Honours degree in performance where she was elected as a Woodwind
Fellow. She has studied recorder with Piers Adams, Margaret Westlake
and currently with Ross Winters. Laura has performed widely in England,
Ireland and Canada, at venues such as The British Museum, Queen
Elizabeth Hall, The Dorchester Hotel, A Castle in Kilkenny, Norwich
Arts Centre, Norwich Playhouse, and many times as a soloist and
as a chamber musician, performing on recorder and folk fiddle. She
has performed concertos with The Bretton Hall String Orchestra and
the LCM Baroque Ensemble, The Castley Sinfonia and The University
fo East Anglia Symphony Orchestra.
Laura has performed live on BBC radio Norfolk, KTAO-101.9
radio in Northern New Mexico, Tube
radio (London) and 'Horses Brawl' will recieve airplay for one of
the tracks from their new cd on BBC Radio 3's Late Junction, 21.1.04
at 11pm.
She is a regular performer in Horses
Brawl and baroque trio Fioritura
Laura
has toured in Canada, played all over England from The Ealing Jazz
Festival to The British Museum. She has supported Kate Rusby,
Coope, Boyes & Simpson and Show of
Hands.
